Whitstable Oyster Company (Royal Native Oyster Stores)
Horsebridge Road, Whitstable, Kent
About
The flagship restaurant of the Whitstable Oyster Company, set inside a converted Victorian oyster warehouse at the Horsebridge, right by the beach. The company also operates Whitstable's oyster beds, the Hotel Continental, the Fisherman's Huts, and other harbour-front venues, so the native oysters served here come from the same operation that farms them just offshore. It is the most formal, most expensive seafood table in the town centre itself, distinct from The Sportsman's marsh-side location in Seasalter.
