On the third floor of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, wrapped round the auditorium, with the river below. The RSC runs it as a restaurant, cocktail bar and afternoon tea room, open Monday to Saturday from midday for dining and from 11am for tea and coffee on matinee days, with a pre-theatre menu on the theatre's own site. It takes card only. You can walk from the last course to your seat, and it is worth booking as soon as you book the play. Book online through the RSC or ring 01789 403449, and tell them about allergies when you reserve.
