A family-run restaurant and wine bar at 3 Sheep Street, the street the town eats on. The menu runs from light open sandwiches and moules through fish, risotto and dry-aged steak burgers to a Sunday roast, and it is one of the few places that prices the theatre in: a two or three course pre-theatre set menu is served from midday until 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday, alongside the full carte. Lunch dishes start from about £7.50 and there is a wine bar in the name for a reason. Tell them your curtain time when you book.
