About
A pub on St Mary's Wynd, the lane that climbs from the foot of the Old Town toward the castle. CAMRA's pub guide dates the building to 1733 and calls it the oldest pub in Stirling, though Nicky-Tams on Baker Street is described by The Courier as open since 1718, so the title is disputed. CAMRA lists three changing real ales. The Courier's 2026 guide to drinking in Stirling describes open fires, folk sessions, weekly quizzes and community events. It has no website, so check the pub's social pages or phone ahead before planning around a session.
