Sole Bay Fish Company's town-centre sister, opened in 2015 on East Street and takeaway only. Fish comes off the same boats as the harbour operation, Our Carol II and Suzie P, and everything is fried the traditional way in beef dripping, which is worth knowing if that matters to you either way. Cod, haddock, plaice and skate on the board, plus fishcakes, scampi and their own tartare sauce and mushy peas. There is a small amount of seating at the front to perch on, but it is not a restaurant and cannot be booked. They do not take pre-orders during the school holidays, so expect to queue in August.
