About

A 726-hectare Sussex Wildlife Trust reserve of shingle, saltmarsh, saline lagoon and reedbed a couple of miles south of Rye, home to breeding terns, avocets and oystercatchers, watched from five wheelchair- and pushchair-accessible birdwatching hides. The ruined Tudor fort of Camber Castle sits within the reserve's boundary, along with the Mary Stanford Lifeboat House memorial.
