About

A wide sandy beach around three miles east of Rye by road, backed by the only significant dune system in East Sussex, popular for swimming, kitesurfing and dog walking, with seasonal restrictions on dogs across parts of the beach in summer. It is not an easy walk from Rye without crossing marsh and road sections, so the Stagecoach 100 bus or a car is the more practical way there for most visitors.
