About
The hill north of Pitlochry, 842 metres high according to Wikipedia. The usual route leaves the Ben Vrackie car park just north-west of Moulin, climbs through beech wood onto moorland, passes Loch a' Choire, and then goes steeply up rough stone steps to the summit, which Walkhighlands calls a superb viewpoint. Walkhighlands gives 10.2 km, 780 m of ascent and 3.5 to 4.5 hours, and rates it 4 out of 5 for bog. This is a proper hill walk: take a map, waterproofs and food, and turn back if the cloud comes down.
