Prideaux Place
About
An Elizabethan manor above the town, completed in 1592 and, by the family's own account, home to the same family for fourteen generations. It has a deer park, a terrace cafe and guided house tours. In the 2026 season it opened on Easter Monday (6 April) and closes on Friday 9 October; house tours run Monday to Friday from 11am with the last tour at 3pm, and the grounds and Terrace Cafe are open Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 4.30pm. It has one more role: on May Day the Old 'Oss visits it, according to Padstow Museum.
