The pub's own page calls it the oldest remaining pub in Padstow, a Grade II listed building first recorded in 1783, and it has a job on May Day: it is the stable of the Old 'Oss, and the Night Song starts outside it at midnight on 30 April. The Rickard family have run it for nearly forty years, with Martin and Sarah in charge since 2005; the head chef is a Padstow man who cooked in Polzeath. Food is served Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner and, on Sundays, roast only from noon to 4pm. There are three en-suite rooms, adults only, listed under Where to Stay.
