About

A north Oxford institution in a Grade II listed Victorian glasshouse on Banbury Road, ten minutes' walk up from the centre. The building was a greengrocer's and florist's conservatory in the late 1800s and eating under its glass roof is still the point: bare stone, oak panelling and greenery, with a menu of seasonal Modern British cooking, brunch at weekends and Sunday lunch. Run by the same Oxford Collection that operates Quod and the Old Parsonage, it is the occasion restaurant locals default to when the occasion involves daylight.
