The tea room in the old canal warehouse at Llangollen Wharf, run by the Horse Drawn Boat Company, with tables outside looking over the town, the river and the railway, and the horses waiting between trips. Everything is cooked on the premises, it says: breakfast and light lunches, Welsh cream teas with its own scones and bara brith, and cakes baked daily. It seats about 55 inside and is open every day of the year except Christmas Day, with shorter hours in winter. Afternoon teas can be ordered a day ahead to take on the aqueduct boat.
