The Addyman family's crime shop, opened in 1997 across Lion Street from the main shop: detective fiction from A to Z, true crime, horror and ghost stories, with big runs of green Penguins, Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes. Look for the painted shopfront. The town directory lists it at 5 Lion Street and notes it closes at lunchtime Monday to Thursday. Christie and Doyle, the newer sister shop, covers the Golden Age and cosy crime.
