About
The town museum on Cameron Square, off the High Street. Free to enter, with donations welcome. It says its most renowned and unusual collection relates to Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite cause, and it also covers the effects of war, the economic impact of tourism on the region, and the coming of the industrial age. The building is listed, so some areas may be hard to reach; stairlifts serve the upper floors, and there is a disabled drop-off point outside, reached via the Viewforth car park.
