The Sunday market that anchors Stockbridge's week, running 10am to 4pm every Sunday, all year, on Saunders Street by the Water of Leith. Founded in 2011 as the first of a small family of Edinburgh markets (the same organisers run Grassmarket and Leith markets), it packs hot food stalls, artisan bread, cheese, charcuterie, fish and local makers into a compact riverside site, and the whole neighbourhood treats it as the Sunday social fixture. Dog-friendly, outdoors in all weathers, and best combined with the walk in along the Water of Leith from Dean Village.
