About
Riddle & Finns opened in the Lanes in 2005 and has stayed close to its original idea, a marble-topped seafood bar serving oysters, lobster, and daily specials chalked up on a board. It takes a limited number of table bookings each day online but leaves most seats for walk-ins, so arriving without a plan is normal here. A second site on the seafront, Riddle & Finns on the Beach, serves the same food with more cocktails and a view of the sea. The Lanes original suits people who want good fish without the formality of a set-menu evening out.
