The old Hassop station, on the Monsal Trail about 2km north of Bakewell, is now a cafe, bookshop and bike hire centre. Monsal Trail Cycle Hire there offers hybrid trail bikes, full-suspension mountain bikes, Haibike electric mountain bikes, children's bikes and accessible options, for two hours, four hours or a full day, booked online or as a walk-in. Photo ID is needed for every hire. The cafe and the cycle hire both open 9am to 5pm daily, according to Hassop Station's own site. From Bakewell it is an easy walk or ride up the trail from the old Bakewell station.
