The Bridge Tavern is the practical answer to the awkward fact that Wicklow Town has no conventional hotel in its centre. It is a pub with rooms at the bridge over the Vartry, a two-minute walk from Main Street and about ten minutes from the harbour, with ensuite rooms above a bar, lounge, snug and riverside terrace that serve food all day. Booking is through the tavern's own reservation system. If you want to be able to walk to dinner, the quays and the Black Castle without getting into a car, this is the location to have.
