Wexford is served by its own station on the Dublin Connolly to Rosslare Europort line, roughly a 10-minute walk from Main Street along the quay. Wexford is a through-station on this line, not a terminus, with services running in both directions.

Driving

Wexford Town is reached via the M11/N11 from Dublin, roughly 140km and about 1 hour 50 minutes' drive under normal traffic. Rosslare Europort, with ferry connections to Fishguard in Wales and to France, lies about 19km south of the town, roughly 20-25 minutes' drive; anyone arriving by ferry from Wales or France should plan on that short onward drive into town. Parking in the town centre is pay-and-display; Redmond Square and Trinity Street both have car parks close to Main Street.
