Our Lady's Hospital, Townparks, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 RK7Y. This is the nearest Emergency Department to Trim, about 16 km and 17 minutes away by the R161. The HSE publishes it as open 24 hours every day, and it treats anyone aged 16 and over. Children under 16 are not treated there: the nearest Emergency Department that takes all ages is Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Windmill Road, Moneymore, Drogheda, Co. Louth, A92 VW28, about 42 km and 44 minutes away. There is no Emergency Department in Trim itself.

Trim Medical (Centric Health)
Mon-Thu 08:30-17:30 and Fri 08:30-17:00, closed 13:00-14:00 daily. For anything outside those hours the practice directs patients to its own online doctor service or, for an emergency, to 112 or 999.
Navan's Emergency Department is open around the clock, seven days a week, so for an adult patient there is no reason to drive past it at night. Its direct line is 046 907 8630 and the hospital switchboard is 046 907 8500, both as published by the HSE. For a child under 16, go to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda instead, whose Emergency Department direct line is 041 987 3601; Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown is also 16 and over, so it is not an alternative for a child. For a minor injury such as a suspected fracture or a minor burn the HSE directs patients to an injury unit rather than an emergency department, but there is no injury unit in Co. Meath, so use the HSE's find urgent and emergency care service to find the nearest one. For anything life-threatening dial 112 or 999 and let the ambulance service decide the destination. For non-emergency advice, HSE Live is on 1800 700 700, Monday to Friday 08:00-20:00 and Saturday 09:00-17:00.

On-street pay-and-display across the town centre, enforced roughly 09:00-18:00 Monday to Saturday. Fine for a couple of hours at the castle; use Emmet Street for longer.
