On Strand Street, closer to the sand than anything else in town, opened by Joe and Noreen O'Shea in 1968 and bought by the Walsh Group in December 2023. There is a traditional bar with live music, the Ocean's Edge bistro serving from eight in the morning, and the same group runs One the Waterfront up on Gallwey's Hill. Dog friendly, with private parking. Booking through the hotel's own reservation system.
