Guided sea-kayaking trips around the Skerries islands, run by Portobello Adventure from the beach near the Martello tower. The standard session paddles out to Shenick to land and take photos, on to Colt for a break, and around St Patrick's before returning, costing about €40 per person. No experience needed for the guided trip, and it is one of the best ways to get out among the islands under your own steam on a calm day.
