About
The anchor of Roundstone harbour: a bar that has been pouring pints since 1840, often called the oldest pub in Connemara, with a restaurant added by the O'Dowd family in 1906 and a cafe alongside it. The chowder has a genuine local reputation, and the whole building overlooks the harbour and Inishnee island beyond. It was Pub of the Year at the 2017 Georgina Campbell Awards and featured in Michelin's 2015 Eating Out in Pubs guide.
