About

Locals call it the Town Hall Bar, after the building, and it is one of the busier live-music rooms in East Cork: the pub's own description has it supporting local acts and touring ones alike. Seamus and Mary Cunningham run it. There is food, a long drinks list and an outdoor seating area that the pub itself describes as a sun-trap when the weather obliges, which in Midleton is a conditional worth taking seriously. Note the opening pattern before you plan around it: Wallis' does not open Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday at all, and starts at 4pm on the nights it does open, so it is an evening proposition only.
