About

An OPW heritage site around 5km outside Letterkenny off Churchill Road, built around a 400-year-old complex that once supplied the linen industry. One of the country's largest working waterwheels still turns at the corn mill, and the site later expanded into food production, supplying Sir Thomas Lipton's grocery business with butter, bacon and eggs in the early 1900s.
