About

Housed in the former Warden's House of the 1843 Letterkenny Workhouse, this museum holds around 8,000 artefacts covering the county's history, from Bronze Age finds to a First World War database. It reopened in its expanded form in 1992 with President Mary Robinson in attendance, and admission has stayed free ever since.
