The full cliff walk is NOT wheelchair accessible (steep, uneven, narrow sections). The first 500m from the summit car park to the Nose of Howth is manageable on dry days with assistance.

Howth Harbour and West Pier are fully accessible, flat tarmac throughout.

Dart

Howth DART station has step-free access. All DART trains have wheelchair spaces.

Restaurants

King Sitric, Aqua, Findlaters, and Brass Monkey all have ground-floor access. Abbey Tavern has steps at the entrance.

Beaumont Hospital, Beaumont Road, Dublin 9, D09 C562, about 13km and 20 minutes by road. This is the nearest emergency department and it is open 24 hours. Beaumont's emergency department is for anyone aged 16 and over. Children under 16 are treated at a Children's Health Ireland emergency department, not at Beaumont; dial 112 or 999 to be directed.

Heathland links course on the Hill of Howth with sea views from most holes. Visitors welcome most days, booking recommended.

Three courses including a par 3 and pitch & putt. Open to all, no booking required for par 3. Good option for casual golfers.

Howth Golf Club has a well-stocked pro shop with equipment, clothing, and accessories (tel: +353 1 832 3055). Deer Park Golf also has a pro shop on site. McGuirks Golf on Harbour Road is open seasonally from late April to September.

Luggage Storage

No luggage storage in Howth. If visiting on a travel day, leave bags at your Dublin hotel or use Radical Storage / Stasher in Dublin city centre (locations near Connolly Station from about €6/day).

Outdoor Gear

No dedicated outdoor shops in Howth. Great Outdoors on Chatham Street, Dublin, is the best option if you need hiking boots or waterproofs before the cliff walk.

Souvenirs

A few gift shops on Harbour Road and at the weekend Howth Market (Saturdays). The market has better crafts and local produce than the tourist shops.

Limited clothing shops in Howth. Sutton Cross has a few, or head into Dublin city centre.
