Glendalough Woollen Mills sits at Derrybawn, right at the entrance to Laragh's Green Road trail into Glendalough, and it is the genuine local craft producer of the valley: hand-knitted jumpers, including Icelandic-style lopapeysas, and jewellery made on site rather than bought in. It has been the flagship shop of the business for years, and it is the natural stop for a wool jumper or a piece of handmade jewellery either before or after a walk, given its position right at the trailhead.
