Casey's Bar & Bistro is the restaurant and bar of The Glendalough Hotel, the only hotel in the valley itself, right beside the monastic city rather than down in Laragh. It serves food from lunchtime through to last orders at 8:30pm, in a room with views over the Glendasan River, and the hotel's Barn Cafe and Grill adds outdoor riverside seating for a lighter bite. This is the most conveniently placed sit-down meal for anyone spending the day at the monastic site itself, rather than driving or walking the extra distance into Laragh village.
