Accessibility
Village
Enniskerry is built on a hill. The Square itself is broadly level around the clock tower platform, but Church Hill and the approach from the Dublin road are steep, footpaths are narrow in places, and the Square shares its surface with parked cars.
Powerscourt Gardens
The house courtyard, shops, Avoca and the upper terrace level are accessible, with accessible parking, a disabled drop-off point at the house, and wheelchairs available on request in advance. The descent through the Italian terraces to Triton Lake is by long flights of steps and is not wheelchair accessible.
Powerscourt Waterfall
Accessible parking, accessible toilets and baby changing on site. The meadow and the main approach to the falls are largely level, though the ground closest to the rock face is rough and uneven.
Knocksink Wood
Not accessible. Steep, uneven, often wet woodland paths with steps and boardwalk sections, and no facilities of any kind on site.
For venue-level access, contact each business directly. The most accessible outdoor option near the village is the meadow at Powerscourt Waterfall.

There is no bank branch in Enniskerry and no ATM was independently confirmed in this research pass. The nearest full banking and cash-machine facilities are in Bray, about 6km away. Carry some cash: Powerscourt Waterfall sells tickets at the gate only, and the smaller village businesses are not all card-first.

St Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin, D04 T6F4. This is the nearest emergency department, roughly 20km and about 25 to 40 minutes by road from Enniskerry via the N11 and M50 depending on traffic. The hospital's own emergency department page publishes a consultant led 24/7 service for patients aged 16 years and over. Note that the HSE listing for the same department says age 14 and over, so a 14 or 15 year old should ring 01 221 4358 ahead rather than assume they will be seen. It does not take ambulances, and it does not treat chest, abdominal, pelvic or serious head and spine injuries. It costs 75 euro unless you hold a full medical card or arrive with a GP, injury unit or emergency department referral letter. It is about 9km from Enniskerry. Ring 01 211 5048 before setting out in the afternoon rather than arriving on the strength of a published time. For an incident on the open mountain at Crone Wood, Maulin, the Great Sugar Loaf or in the Glencree valley, dial 112 or 999 and ask for Mountain Rescue rather than driving toward a hospital; the Wicklow Mountains are covered by the volunteer Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team, coordinated through An Garda Síochána. There is no coast guard relevance here: Enniskerry is inland and its rivers are freshwater and non-tidal.

Green fees quoted by the estate in the range of roughly €55 to €130 depending on season, with winter rates lower than summer. Confirm current rates and tee times with the club.
Two championship courses on the Powerscourt demesne, with the Great Sugar Loaf as the backdrop on most of the front nine. Visitor tee times are bookable; book ahead in summer.
Luggage Storage
There is no left-luggage facility in Enniskerry. Accommodation in the village will normally hold bags on the day of arrival or departure; ask directly. Wicklow Way walkers passing through should plan around that rather than assume storage.

The Square, Enniskerry
Rate: Free, but limited
The Square doubles as the village car park. It is free and it fills by mid-morning on fine weekends, with the overflow spilling onto the approach roads. Arriving before ten changes the day. It is a working village car park, so leave room for deliveries and residents.
Powerscourt House car park
Rate: Free with a visit; large capacity
The estate's own car park at the house, with accessible spaces, EV charging and a disabled drop-off point. This is 2km uphill from the village and it does NOT serve the waterfall.
Powerscourt Waterfall car park
Rate: Included in the waterfall admission, paid at the gate
A completely separate car park at the waterfall's own entrance, about 7km from the village by road. Accessible spaces, toilets and baby changing on site. You cannot reach it from the gardens car park without driving back out onto the public road.
Crone Wood car park
Rate: Free
The trailhead car park for the Crone Woods and Maulin loop, about 7km southwest of the village. Small, and it fills on fine weekends. No facilities.

Listings disagree on whether the address is given as The Square or Church Hill, which in Enniskerry are the same corner of the village, and the trading name Magee's Pharmacy appears alongside the registered company name Enniskerry Pharmacy Limited. The phone number is consistent across every source checked. No Eircode is published here because the two directory listings give different ones. Outside these hours the nearest late-opening pharmacies are in Bray, about 6km away.

Enniskerry has a convenience shop on the Square for basics and picnic supplies, and Avoca's food market on the demesne is excellent but priced accordingly. For a full supermarket shop, Bray is about 6km away. Self-caterers staying out toward the waterfall or Crone Wood should stock up in Bray on the way in.

There is no taxi rank in Enniskerry. Local operators serve the village and are the practical answer to the two gaps in public transport here: reaching Powerscourt Waterfall, which no bus serves, and getting back from Bray station after the last L15. Book ahead by phone, especially in the evening and on Sundays, and agree the fare for out-of-village runs before you set off.
