The restaurant of The Lodge at Ashford Castle at Lisloughrey, a kilometre and a half east of the village on the Corrib shore, serving contemporary Irish cooking with the lake in the window. The Lodge is a separate hotel from the castle and a separate booking, and it is the more realistic evening out for someone staying in the village who wants the estate setting without the castle's price. Lisloughrey Pier, where the Corrib Cruises boats leave, is a short walk beyond it.
