About
A secluded white-sand beach near the western tip of the Sky Road peninsula, under twenty minutes' drive west of Clifden. Sheltered by the island of Inishturk offshore, it is a quiet, scenic spot good for a swim on a calm day and well known for its sunsets, with the occasional chance of dolphins or whales out in the bay. A small car park and no facilities, so bring what you need.
