Clifden's best-known traditional pub, on Market Street and in the Lowry family since 1949. It has live Irish music most nights through the season, a whiskey and gin selection said to be the largest in Connemara, and a following for its toasted-sandwich menu. It has won Best Traditional Bar in Ireland more than once. Come for the session and a pint rather than a full meal.
