About

A 9th-century round tower standing around 23 metres tall on a hillside above the National Museum of Country Life at Turlough. Beside it sit an 18th-century church ruin and an old graveyard. The arched doorway, set high above the ground, is now blocked up, and the capstone was repaired in 1880.
