Bru Boru Cultural Centre
About
Bru Boru is the Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann heritage centre at the foot of the Rock, a home for Irish traditional music, song and dance. Through the day it runs the Sounds of History exhibition, a cafe, a craft shop and a genealogy service, and the centre itself is free to enter. The reason to come, though, is the summer seisiun: most nights from Tuesday to Saturday between late June and late August it stages a show of trad music and dance. One of the best places in the southeast to hear the real thing.
