About

The Savill Garden is a 35-acre ornamental garden within Windsor Great Park, created in the 1930s for King George V by the horticulturist Eric Savill. It runs a sequence of seasonal set-pieces, a Winter Garden, Rose Garden, Dry Garden, and notable magnolia, rhododendron and hydrangea collections, so it rewards a return at a different time of year. It sits a few miles from central Windsor toward Englefield Green, so it needs a short drive or a taxi, and advance online tickets are cheaper than paying on the day.
