Oakley Court is a Victorian Gothic mansion on the Thames at Water Oakley, between Windsor and Maidenhead, now a country-house hotel with 35 acres of grounds. Genuinely eccentric, it was a filming location for Hammer horror films and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and it offers Mansion, Boathouse and Garden rooms, a seasonal riverside dining set-up and an estate feel. It is a ten to fifteen minute drive from the Castle, so it suits a country-house stay rather than a town base.
