Tenby's Three Beaches

← All things to do

About

Tenby has three distinct beaches within a short walk of the town walls: North Beach below the harbour and the pastel Esplanade terraces, with a lifeguard in season; South Beach, running roughly two flat miles toward Giltar Point, dog-friendly at its southern end year-round; and the small, sheltered Castle Beach directly below the castle ruins, from which the sand crossing to St Catherine's Island opens at low tide. Castle Beach was rated the UK's best beach by the Sunday Times in 2019.
