An independent living-history museum in a sixteenth-century Grade II* building off Sheep Street, at Sheep Street, CV37 6EE, entered by going under the arch and along the cobbled courtyard. Its own visiting page says husband and wife Ben and Lisa Pugh took on running it in August 2026; it receives no grants or funding and is kept up from visitor fees. Inside are Tudor rooms with costumed characters, smells, a witch trial to read and a quill to try. The museum is open 10.30am to 5.30pm every day except Christmas Day. After dark it runs a lantern-lit ghost tour of the building at 6pm every evening, with 6, 7, 8 and 9pm slots on Saturdays. The ghost tour is not suitable for children.

The Henley Street house where Shakespeare was born in 1564. Timed entry; the ticket includes New Place Gardens and lasts twelve months.

Thatched Shottery farmhouse, a 30 to 35 minute walk from town by the Trust's reckoning, with gardens and a cafe.
Shakespeare's New Place
The garden on the site of Shakespeare's last home, at 22 Chapel Street. Free with a Birthplace ticket; listed 11am to 3pm from 1 September.
