A city-centre hotel on King Street, a few minutes' walk from the station. The hotel's own site says it has been serving Stirling since 1786 and counts Robert Burns among its past guests. Cronies Bar and Restaurant downstairs has a piano lounge. The Scottish Licensed Trade News reported in June 2025 that the hotel, with 66 bedrooms, had been sold to a new operator, AGR Hospitality (Stirling). Book through the hotel's own booking page.
