St Nicholas Chapel

About

A small clifftop chapel on The Island headland predating 1434, used historically for worship, as a smugglers' and customs lookout, and for military purposes, restored in 1911 and again in 1971. The interior holds only around ten people, but the headland itself gives one of the best panoramic views over St Ives and the bay.
