Opened in 1877 as the world's first purpose-built golf hotel, Rusacks sits on Pilmour Links directly above the Old Course's 18th fairway. Acquired by AJ Capital Partners in late 2019 and given a major renovation and a 42,000-square-foot extension through the pandemic, it reopened with 120 rooms, two restaurants and a rooftop patio as the flagship property of Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts, a boutique golf-hotel portfolio. It remains the hotel most directly linked to the Old Course itself.
