About

Built in 1968 on the site of the old town railway station, this 175-room hotel (including 35 suites, with 31 more rooms added in a 2020 expansion) is best known for a strange piece of golf trivia: the building itself obstructs the view down the 17th, the Old Course's famous Road Hole. Owned since 2004 by Herb Kohler's Destination Kohler and run as a full luxury resort with the Kohler Waters Spa, the Road Hole Restaurant and the Jigger Inn, it is the grandest address in town for anyone who wants to be inside the ropes of the golf itself.
