Rye Waterworks Micropub & Microbrewery
About
A CAMRA-listed micropub in a former eighteenth-century water pump house on Tower Street, serving local ales, keg beers and ciders alongside simple food such as Scotch eggs and pork pies. Its own microbrewery and taproom operate a short distance away in Playden, and the pump house's own history, including the original wooden pump wheel, is told through artefacts held at Rye Castle Museum rather than on site.
