Rye Heritage Centre: The Story of Rye
About
A scale model of nineteenth-century Rye at the Old Sail Loft on Strand Quay, with a sound, light and projection show narrating 750 years of the town's history: French raids, storms, smuggling and royal visits. The model and show were updated with new projection mapping for its fiftieth anniversary, and it is a good first stop to make sense of the town before walking it.
