A speciality coffee cafe on Bayfield Road, a short walk from the harbour. The Scotsman reported in February 2026 that Birch, founded in 2020 by Skye local Niall Munro, came 50th in the World's 100 Best Coffee Shops 2026 list; there is a second Birch in Inverness. Hidden Scotland says the beans are roasted in-house, with small brunch and lunch menus, plant-based choices, and cakes and pastries baked daily, plus beans and brewing kit to buy. Its own Visit page gives the hours as every day, 8am to 5pm.
