About

The working distillery on the Perth Road at the south-east end of town. Malts, its owner's visitor arm, says whisky has been made here since 1798. It is the distillery you can actually tour in Pitlochry in 2026: Edradour, up the hill, is closed to the public. The Signature Tour takes about an hour, groups are capped at 16, booking ahead is required, and children under eight are not allowed on tours. There are two longer tastings for people who want more. Assistance dogs can go round; other dogs can wait in the shop and bar on a short lead. The Black Spout and Edradour walk passes the gates.
