Port-na-Craig Inn

The old inn at the river's edge below the Festival Theatre, in Port-na-Craig, the hamlet on the south bank that Wikipedia notes is older than the Victorian town across the water. The inn's own line is that it is a short three-minute walk up the footpath to the theatre doors, and that is why people book it: the pre-theatre menu starts at 16:30. Lunch runs from noon to 15:00 every day and the a la carte from 17:00 or 19:00. There is an atrium in what was the cobbled courtyard at the old entrance, and it is dog friendly, with dogs in daily. It has rooms as well.
