About
Footprints Tours runs a two-hour University and City walking tour led by Oxford alumni and students, meeting at 16 Broad Street and covering the central sights: the Bodleian quarter, Radcliffe Square, college gateways and the stories behind them, with entry to a college when access allows. Tours run daily at 11am, 2pm and 4pm, with adult tickets at £34.99 and cheaper student and child rates; the same operator also runs a free walking tour on a tips basis. A guided walk is the fastest way to make sense of how the university actually works, which otherwise takes most visitors a full day to piece together.
