About
A riverside hotel at Sandquay, north of the town centre, on the site of a shipyard that became a marina in the late 1950s and a hotel in 1961, by the hotel's own history page. Every room looks over the river, it says, from doubles with balconies to ground-floor garden rooms that take dogs at £20 a night and suites with outside space. There is a spa, a bistro called Zephyr, free parking for guests and electric car charging for residents. Check-in is from 3pm. It is about 650m north of the Boat Float in a straight line, and the Higher Ferry slip is just to the south.
